Overview

Gold Road Resources’ Yamarna tenements surround the Gruyere gold mine on the eastern edge of the Yilgarn Craton.

As Superintendent 2IC, Morgan ran exploration activity on site and covered both ends of the pipeline: new greenfield targets, and brownfield drilling to grow Mineral Resources at existing deposits.

Highlights

  • Managed Yamarna site exploration through the COVID-19 period, with up to 70 people on site.
  • Defined new greenfield gold targets, including Savoie, Corkwood South and Beefwood.
  • Brownfield exploration supporting Mineral Resource growth at Gruyere, Smokebush and Gilmour.
  • Mentored and trained a geological team of more than ten.
